One of the Keynote Speakers Amara Charles (USA) will also be leading a “Touch for Two” Evening at “The Temple” 15 Landscape Road, Mount Eden on April 2nd, 7-10pm. Cost is $50/$40 concession, and her latest book “Sexual Practices of Quodoshka” will be on sale.

Two days after the conference, with people clamoring for a copy, I was told ‘they were delivered 2 days ago and were signed by M.S.” Turns out my friend Brian’s Quality Solar Plumbing business only has 3 employees, none of whom have these initials. After an entire day of being told “There’s nothing we can do- your books have been delivered, thankfully Brian started to call around to find my lost sex books. The freight company handed them over to another freight company because Mullumbimby is such a small town. Brian and I went to all the nearby businesses asking anyone if had found our boxes. Brian kept saying, ‘don’t worry mate, they ARE someplace. As we are pondering their fate, a black and yellow snake crawls out of his car. “True,” I say, ‘the question is WHERE?’.

Brian finally found the truck drivers name was Mick, and remembered him from a while back. We’d have to wait however till the next day to talk to Mick.Sure enough, Mick had seen 3 boxes of sex books and says “ah, yes, a couple of years ago I had a delivery for you and dropped it off down the street because you weren’t around.” Mick faithfully delivered my books down the way a bit at a lawnmowers shop, only he failed to mention this to anyone.

Needless to say, it was a relief to go and get my books from the lawn mower’s shop. Brian really gets how things are done down under. Cool. Casual, Laid Back, a bit disorganized, and quirky as can be. It’s great to be back!

The Nectar of Immortality has the flavor of sweet peaches; the scent of rose oil and it causes your heart to swell with the urge to give. When this vapor is in your mind, you let go of worry and it pops the balloons of stress, sorrow and anger stored in your cells. Past transgressions become irrelevant, whatever keeps you from acting kindly dissolves and it gives you power to face anything.

Make no mistake however, it’s very expensive for it costs all of your attachments to the way anything was or the way you think anything should be.

It’s a magnetic fluid that draws perfection towards you, even if you don’t yet see the perfection. It’s a waterfall of unequaled love you feel wherever everything unreal slides away. It’s the sugar inside tears.

Of course, this Immortal Nectar is a secret kept in plain sight. You are the biggest source of the raw material, the manufacturer, distributor and the consumer all at once. It’s made from various acts of virtue, selflessness, sincerity and generosity. Curiously, even if a person does not realize he or she has been given a dose, the effects are potent anyway.

It’s wise to constantly store this elixir and keep it handy for times when you are tired, lonely or sick. It’s easy to collect, for the main ingredients are loving speech, good thoughts and decisive actions. I suggest having an inner Immortal Nectar cellar where you keep vats of this stuff on hand.

Whenever you feel out of sorts, go into your immortal cellar and put some on your feet so that wherever you walk gets dusted with magic pollen. Pour some on your fingers so your touch becomes soothing. Then drink a few sips until your words are soaked in kindness. And don’t forget to take a huge sniff so the aroma goes straight to your brain and purifies your heart.

‘Quehestemehah’ (You Dance In My Heart)

She was born in Rhode Island and grew up on the rugged Maine coast, where she spent hours as mate on her father’s lobster boat (when she wasn’t snatching blueberries from the bears).  Tragically her parents both died when she was 20, so “big sister” had to drop out of college and raise her two younger sisters and brother and got them successfully launched in life.

Shyena is a true “citizen of the world”, having traveled extensively on all the continents (except the big, icy one) and lived, for years, in London, the Canary Islands and New Zealand (where she has “permanent resident” status).

The ultimate “survivor”, she has a terrific and varied skill set earned in the “school of life.”  She is a graduate of the London-based European School of Massage and Aroma Therapy and has more than 20 years experience in thenatural healing arts, as an intuitive healer and educator.  She has a passion for helping women around the world increase their sexual awareness and health through her lectures, workshops, personal counseling and the “model” she presents so beautifully of her own natural, holistic lifestyle.  Her passionate love is music (Music is the language of the soul.) and is a gifted drummer and percussionist who has performed internationally for many years.

Shyena is an active adventurer who travels around the world snow-boarding, trekking and climbing.  Her extended visit to Nepal and Bhutan in the summer of 2011 brought her into the world of the Himalayan Stove Project.  We are truly fortunate to have her as our dedicated “Chief Ambassador.”

There are often 2 major kinds of hangover symptoms:

1: Headache being the main symptom, with eye swollen or/and echo in the head from talking. This is usually caused by acetaldehyde accumulation.
2: Bad emotion being the main symptom, with nauseous or vomiting. This is usually caused by acute gastritis.
If you went hardcore the night before then you may have both. If you have swollen fingers or even losing conscious, then it’s probably alcohol intoxication and you better have someone call 911 for you.

To save you from symptom 1, find the following points:

No.1 Bai Hui: midpoint of the line between the two ears, very top point of the head. Method: press. (Picture above)

No.2 Tian Zhu: on the neck, level with C2, in the depression at the lateral border of trapezius. Method: rub.

No.3 Gan Shu: level with T9, 2 fingers away from the spine. Method: tap, hit or rub (Don’t worry if you can’t find the exact locations, even you are just working the area it will still work.)

To Save you from symptom 2, simply rub the up, down, left and right, 4 points that are about 3cm from the bellybutton, then press them down, hold about 6 seconds then release. Repeat about 10 times or simply till you feel better.
